Questions
Can I undo the changes?
Yes. Every tweak saves the original value: switching it off returns the Windows default, uninstalling M4k restores how it was before. The exceptions, which the app tells you about first, are removing pre-installed apps and turning off BitLocker.
Why does it ask for administrator rights?
Because it changes system settings (registry, power plans, services). M4k has no telemetry: it only goes online to check your plan, look for updates and, when you start them, for the network tests and the Microsoft Store page.
Is it fine with Valorant and FACEIT?
Yes. Only one tweak, turning off Memory Integrity, is incompatible with Vanguard and FACEIT: it never turns on by itself, and the app explains it before you enable it.
How many PCs can I use PRO on?
On one PC at a time: the subscription is personal. If you change computer, press “Transfer to this PC” on the License page: it can be done once every 30 days. Also, a PC you haven't used for 7 days frees up by itself.
Why Discord?
It is your M4k account. Signing in with Discord makes you join the community server and get the user role, which unlocks the Free plan; if you're a subscriber, PRO turns on by itself, with no key to keep. We only receive your Discord account's ID and name, never your email or password.
What if I leave the Discord server?
M4k goes back to “Unverified”: the changes already made stay and you can always undo them, but to apply new ones you need to rejoin the server.
How do I cancel?
From Polar's customer portal, whenever you like. PRO stays on until the end of the period already paid; then M4k returns the PRO tweaks to the values you had before.
